Apple docks to grace the vehicle's rear entertainment system in new BMWs

Now BMW may not necessarily be the very first of the big name car manufacturers since we already heard of the special edition Brabus iBusiness vehicle with Mercedes that was totally tricked out with Apple. But BMW has plans on making the iPad a somewhat major component in the vehicle, well at least the rear of the vehicle. The new BMWs will now come with an iPad/iPhone dock for those seated in the rear. No longer will you have those weirdly placed screens in the rear of the front seats backrest. You’ll now be able to hook up your iPad or iPhone for net connectivity while on the go or just sit back and watch a movie. Apple’s devices are taking over... well still taking over.
