Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 Gaming Mouse review: looks like a Transformers

The Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 Gaming Mouse provides a 5 600 DPI value and is the improved version of the R.A.T. 7 (which did provide the 5 600 dots per inch, as well). What was to be improved to the older brother? Well, the R.A.T 9 is a laser wireless pointing device (that works on rechargeable lithium batteries), while the R.AT. 7 was a wired USB powered mouse. In terms of design, the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 Gaming Mouse looks like just taken out of the Transformers. It gives you six programmable buttons, weight settings (although this mouse is not light at all, there are 45 grams of removable weight) and this is not all. It’s made of aluminum that shrinks and enlarges as much as you need with the special adjustable screw, providing palm, thumb and pinky rests for almost all hand sizes. No cord and, amazingly, no problems! But, the custom modes require the Cyborg software installed (which is not very user-friendly, it lacks in clarity, quite a bit) and the settings you choose are stored in your PC, not in the mouse. You can get the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T. 9 Gaming Mouse for approximately 150 US dollars (price from www.amazon.com).
