Combining a display with a media player is the way to go. It saves you the space you need to free up on that already cluttered shelf and you also know what's the whole fuss behind the integration of devices thing. So the iView TV comes into play with a side loading DVD player. Apparently. what we're looking at is a LED backlit LCD screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It handles resolutions of up to 1366x768 pixels, a 15..5-inch size, a contrast ration of 1000:1 and a 6ms response rate.
There are good things said about the color reproduction as well. Additionally, this particular iView TV also packs an ATSC tuner, thus making 1080p video support possible and a pair of integrated 3W stereo speakers. $300.
