GeChic Releases Portable Monitor for Smartphones

With a great Smartphone, you can read a book, watch a movie or surf the internet. Well, barely, the screen is always too small. Until now. GeChic offers a 13.3 inch portable screen as an extension to your smartphone monitor. It is an 8mm thick device with a 1366 x 768 display. Though connecting it may pose a challenge but with practice, and a maze of connectors, adapters, batteries and cords, your GeChic monitor will be up in a jiff. The monitor can be powered either through your laptop’s USB port or an external battery pack. It also includes hookups for VGA and HDMI Video Connections via a proprietary 30-pin connector. Laptop users can also use the device through a Mini Display Port Accessory. If you have Apple’s Digital AV adapter or an MHL to HDMI solution, it can also be supported on your iPhone and most Android phones. It’s home produced video dubbed it as ”The best idea ever,” though installation is a bit of a challenge, it is indeed one of the best. GeChic’s monitor will be available in Newegg next month for $199.
