There have been a number of rumors over the last week that this years iPhone will come with a 4.6 inch display, the rumor originally came from Reuters, who had said that the sixth generation iPhone would launch in the second quarter of 2012.
Well it looks like the report was nothing but a rumor, as we suspect, as there are now conflicting reports saying that this years iPhone will come with the same 3.5 inch display which is featured in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
The news comes from the guys over at iMore, who have also said that the new iPhone will come with a new smaller dock connector than they existing models and also 4G LTE.
They are also saying that the device will launch in the fall, which sounds much more likely than the rumored second quarter launch date from Reuters.
Apple launched the iPhone 4S in October of last year, so we can expect the new iPhone to launch around the same time this year and we suspect it will land in either September or October of 2012.
