Company Wilson, produces high-quality sports equipment, has introduced the  smart basketball Wilson X Connected Basketball. Built-in sensor captures every ball throw, distinguishes two point and three-point hitting, throwing from the foul line and misses. In addition, the sensor is equipped with an accelerometer and Bluetooth-module, transmitting the data to a companion app installed on the iPhone. Proprietary software constantly conducts long-term statistics, showing the owner of the results and progress. The users available four modes of training. The application also can comment shots in real time, to simulate the countdown and the roar of a stadium with a successful throw. The manufacturer assures,that the battery of built-in sensor is enough for 100,000 shots, which corresponds to about two years of active use. Possible will then recharge / change the battery or need to buy a new ball – not specified.
