Motorola officially announces 8.2-inch and 10.1-inch Xyboard tablet
Just a while ago, we got a whiff of Motorola’s latest attempt at a tablet. Called the Motorola Droid Xyboard, the device was officially announced in a recent press release by Motorola. Motorola confirmed the specification and price of the tablet, reported to sport dual-core 1.2GHz processors, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, Gorilla Glass-protected displays, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and 4G LTE connectivity. Also, Motorola’s Xyboard will be made available in different sizes and storage capacities, with the 10.1″ 16GB, 32GB priced at $529.99 and the 64GB priced at $729.99 with a 2-year agreement on Verizon. Also, the 8.2″ 16GB and 32GB will be priced at $429.99 and $529.99 with a two year agreement respectively.
