iPocket Watch, Nano Multitouch Pocket Watch
We have featured a multitude of designs here on Geeky Gadgets which have been created to transform Apple’s iPod nano device into a watch that you can wear on your wrist.
However this new iPocket Watch design created by Edwin Conan provides an innovative solution for carrying your iPod nano, not on your wrist, but in your pocket, using the iPocket Watch concept.
The iPocket Watch is currently on the crowdfunding funding web site Pozible, similar to Kickstarter. Looking to make the jump from concept to production, so if you think you would use the iPocket Watch with your iPod nano. Jump over to Pozible to make a pledge and help the design get off the ground.
The iPocketWatch is constructed from aircraft grade aluminium or silver, and is then hand finished to the highest standard. A special Black Edition can also be ordered on request. Edwin Conan explains a little more about the inspiration and thought process behind the creation of his innovative iPocket Watch design.
“Last year Apple updated the iPod Nano 6th generation with additional watch faces in its watch function. One of which is the classic roman numerals. Such a classic watch face needs a classic watch case to match and celebrate, and the most classic watch of all time is, of course, the pocket watch. The idea of turning the iPod Nano into a multi-touch, multi-function, high tech, modern day pocket watch was born.
The classic men’s watch will always be the pocket watch. While everyone else wears the iPod Nano as a wrist watch, why not bring a bit of yesterday to your style and distinguish yourself from the rest of the world by fashioning this admirable iPW (iPocketWatch)?”
